River Valley High School (Secondary)

River Valley High School (RVHS) is a co-educational government autonomous school in Singapore, offering a six-year Integrated Programme (IP) leading to the GCE A-Level examination. Established in 1956, RVHS is known for its strong bilingual and bicultural education, emphasizing both Chinese and English languages.

River Valley High School offers Chinese Painting through its Chinese Painting CCA. This unique program allows students to explore traditional Chinese art forms, techniques, and cultural significance. The school also offers Direct School Admission (DSA) through Chinese Painting, providing talented students an opportunity to develop their skills in this specialized art form.

For the 2024 intake, River Valley High School's PSLE score range for non-affiliated students in the Integrated Programme is 4(D) - 8(M), where (D) indicates Distinction in Higher Chinese Language and (M) indicates Merit. This reflects the competitive nature of admissions to RVHS and its commitment to academic excellence.
