Nanyang Girls' High School

Nanyang Girls' High School (NYGH) is a prestigious all-girls independent school in Singapore, offering a six-year Integrated Programme (IP) leading to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. Established in 1917, NYGH is a Special Assistance Plan (SAP) school known for its strong emphasis on bilingualism and holistic education.

NYGH does not offer Direct School Admission (DSA) through visual arts. However, the school provides the Art Elective Programme (AEP), which is designed for students who enter through other means, such as PSLE or DSA in other talent areas. The AEP curriculum offers an in-depth and holistic exploration of art practice and theory, exposing students to a wide range of art forms and media such as ceramics, painting, photography, and digital art. Students benefit from learning journeys, interactions with industry professionals, collaborative projects, and opportunities to showcase their work in exhibitions.

For the 2024 intake, Nanyang Girls' High School's PSLE score range for non-affiliated students in the Integrated Programme is 4(D) - 6(M), where (D) indicates Distinction in Higher Chinese Language and (M) indicates Merit. This reflects the competitive nature of admissions to NYGH and its commitment to academic excellence.
